Whether you want to spend the day fishing, swimming, tubing or just enjoying the scenery and sunshine, a Kentucky Lake boat rental is the perfect way to do it. For our rentals, we offer Avalon LSZ Quad Lounger Pontoon Boats that boast a spacious 25-foot layout, including full-length benches in both the bow and aft portions of the boat providing comfortable seating and a large, open floorplan. These boats provide ample seating and plenty of storage options for cruising around Kentucky Lake. These boats are equipped with powerful Mercury 115 HP engines. With the capacity to hold up to 12 people or 2,000 pounds in weight, these boats are perfect for get togethers with family and friends.

Kentucky Lake Boat Rental Features

  • Any Kentucky Lake boat rental from Pebble Isle will feature a premium sound system with Bluetooth capability and six speakers. Connect your Bluetooth-enabled device and play your favorite music while cruising around on the water. 
  • The pontoon boats are also equipped with a Garmin GPS system, which can help you navigate and ensure that you stay on course while out on Kentucky Lake. 
  • Our LSQ Quad Loungers have Bimini shade covers to help keep you cool and protected from the sun while out on the water. 
  • These boat rentals are suitable for watersports, and you are allowed to pull riders on skis, wakeboards, or other similar equipment. However, it's essential to follow safety guidelines and regulations to ensure everyone remains safe. 
  • You can also pull inflatable tubes, but you must rent one of the marina’s tubes at the time of booking your boat rental.

Renters must be at least 21 years old on the day of their rental. No pets are allowed on the boats.

Gas is not included. When you pick the boat up for your rental, it will be full of fuel. When you return, our dockhands will assist you to fill up the boat at the gas dock at Pebble Isle Marina and pay for the gas used in the Ships Store.

The Coast Guard plate allows up to 12 people / 2,000 pounds maximum weight on the boat. You will not be allowed on the boat if your party exceeds those numbers.

A 50% down payment is required to reserve a boat, with the remaining balance due at check-in.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of rental time forfeit entire fee

Cancellations made less than 14 days but more than 24 hours from rental time forfeit $100 plus booking / transaction fees of total fee

Cancellations made more than 14 days from rental time receive full refund less booking / transaction fees.

To cancel or reschedule a reservation, please email [email protected] with header: Boat Rental reservation change, your name, contact telephone number, date(s) of current reservation and details of your requested changes.

Weather cancellations/reschedules will be decided solely at the discretion of the management of Pebble Isle Boat Rentals, normally the morning of the rentals. If it is deemed truly unsafe to be out on the water, PIBR will work with Renters to either reschedule reservations or give prorated refunds.

Tennessee State Residents born after January 1, 1989:

Must show the TWRA-issued wallet Boating Safety Education Certificate as proof of successful completion of the TWRA Boating Safety exam.

No other certificate will be accepted as meeting the requirements of the law. The Tennessee mandatory boating education law is similar to the driver’s license law. You acquire the study materials, study, and then take an approved boating safety exam administered by an approved representative of the TWRA.

Tennessee State Residents born before January 1, 1989:

You are exempt from the requirement to have a boating license to operate a boat in Tennessee.

However, we encourage anyone planning to rent and drive a boat to complete the online training available and take an approved boating safety exam to obtain a TWRA-issued wallet Boating Safety Education Certificate.

As a minimum requirement, we require that any boat drivers that do not have a TWRA-issued wallet Boating Safety Education Certificate watch an online orientation video and achieve a passing grade on the online test.

At check-out of the boat on the day of your rental, for every person planning to drive the boat, we will require a copy of the following documents:

A TWRA-issued wallet Boating Safety Education Certificate (mandatory if born after January 1, 1989).

For anyone born before January 1, 1989 that does not have a TWRA-issued wallet Boating Education Certificate you may go to: https://www.rentalboatsafety.com/power-boats to watch an orientation video and take a certification test. You will need to provide proof of a passing score on the certification test in order to rent the boat.

Out of State Residents born after January 1, 1989:

TWRA will accept any NASBLA (National Association of State Boating Law Administrators) approved boating safety certificate.

Out of State Residents born before January 1, 1989:

You are exempt from the requirement to have a boating license to operate a boat in Tennessee.

However, we encourage anyone planning to rent and drive a boat to complete the online training available and take an approved boating safety exam to obtain a NASBLA approved Boating Safety Certificate.

As a minimum requirement, we require that any boat drivers that do not have a NASBLA approved Boating Safety Education Certificate watch an online orientation video and achieve a passing grade on the online test.

At check-out of the boat on the day of your rental, for every Out of State resident planning to drive the boat, we will require a copy of the following documents:

Life jackets are provided for all adults and children that will be aboard the boat. 

The boat includes a set of adult universal size Life Jackets that cover chest sizes from 30” – 52”.

We will provide additional Life Jackets for children, but need your help to plan for child size life jackets. At the time of booking, we require details of the number of all adults, as well as children to be aboard in the following sizes:

  • Infant / Toddler (0-30 pounds)
  • Child (30-50 pounds)
  • Youth (50-90 pounds, Chest 25”-29”)
  • Teen (Chest 28”-32”)

Please appreciate that the life jackets provided will have been used by other boaters. If you prefer to use your own Life Jacket(s) please bring them along. Alternatively, if you prefer a brand new Life Jacket, we do sell new OBrien Life Jackets in the Ships Store in a variety of sizes.

Kentucky Lake Boat Rental Term and Conditions:


You will be responsible for purchasing the fuel needed to operate the boat during your rental period. Also, pets are not allowed to accompany you on pontoon boats. This rule is put in place to maintain cleanliness and prevent any potential damages, and ensure everyone’s safety (human and otherwise).
